Job search for external candidates EREC

Problem Details: Job Search unregistered candidates

Dear Guru's

We are on EHP5 implementing E recruitment integration scenario.

As a external candidate, We are unable to search all the requisitions

that are published and released, However we are able to search all the

requisition when we search with a reference code.

when we do a blank search we can see only a few requisitions.

TREX is configured properly. there is no error log in SLG1.

kindly suggest.

Hi,

the reference code search is not using the TREX search therefore it is no indication if the TREX is working correctly.

I'd recomment checking SAP note 1301016 to see if you applied all necessary steps when configuring TREX. Furthermore check the TREX logs in TCode TREXADMIN and the index status in TCode SES_ADMIN.

Two issues which appear from time to time when working with TREX:

- TREX is stopping any indexing when it drops below 2 GB empty disk space. In this case you only find the old entries but no new data is indexed

- The periodcal services program RCF_PERIODICAL_SERVICES includes a check which prevents parallel execution. Sometimes when restarting the server an active process is not correctly identified as aborted. In this case the periodical services will end before doing anything. Check SM37 if there is a very long running periodical service. (In some cases the long running job might be already deleted from the job log but the lock is still existing. This can only be identified by debugging through the first lines of RCF_PERIODICAL_SERVICES.
