Job search for Distributed External Candidate Scenario?

Hey Experts,

I am using Distributed Candidate Scenario, where we are using separate server for front end candidates .

I need to understand how Jobs Search will appear at External Candidate Pages ?

For that we required to connect Trex with erec server ?

If it is, then do we need to transfer infotypes hrp5121,hrp5122 as well???

Hi Pran,

If you use a distributed scenario all your data is on the backend system which you need to connect to TREX, yes.

We are working on Distributed Scenario.

RECFA UI2BL

RECFA BL2UI

are maintained for frontend and backend servers.

Now if I maintain UI2BL at Frontend server with RFC point to Backend server, it gives "Unfortunately system is not available" for Hrrcf_a_startpage_ext_cand, whereas for Hrrcf_a_candidate_ext_profile it gives " RBAX STATE", error related to CL_WDR_MANAGER....

One more strange thing is happening, Na object is not getting created at table HRP5102 but its getting there at HRP1001.

There is no node for Activation of CSL in the configuraton.

I have checked lots of threads pointing same error, but my error remains same.

Please help me out resolving the same.

Hi Nicole,

Well, earlier when we mentioned RECFA UI2BL RFC to Backend  at frontend server,

Job search started working and was giving fine results.

But it was throwing error in HRRCF_A_STARTPAGE_CAND_EXT, error was "HRRCF_MDL_SET_SYSTEM_LOCK" not found.I Checked and it was missing at backened server.

Backened server is 604 sp4 , whereas frontend server is 604 sp7.

So, i Applied note 1476433 and created same FM "HRRCF_MDL_SET_SYSTEM_LOCK" .

After that, the above error is gone, but another reported... (uncaught exception "CL_WDR_MESSAGE_MANAGER"....).

AT fronend we have node for "Activate CSL", but at backend that node is missing for obvious reasons.

Another thing is Na object is not getting created at table hrp5102 but  it is there at hrp1001 while it was happening earlier.(Its not getting created even i use integrated scenario).

In one of the thread that mentions same error, solution was changing RFC from normal to Trusted RFC. Right now i am using Normal RFC with ABAP Connection.

Please guide me how to approach as this is getting complex and i really need to sort that out.

Hi Pran,

As you found already: the RFC connection from UI to BL has to be a Trusted RFC connection. In the IMG step documentation you'll find this note and more info.
