How to find the external code for the new section in the job profile template.

I understand you're encountering an error stating that the ExternalCode is a required field when attempting to upload the long description for a new section in the Job Profile Template within SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM).

This issue arises because the JobProfileLocalizedData object requires an ExternalCode to associate the localized content with a specific section.

Identify the Section ID (ExternalCode):

• Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Data.
• Search for Job Template by specifying the external code.
• Locate the specific Job Template you're interested in and click on the Details link.
• Scroll down to the section you're interested in. The internalId displayed here is the Section ID.

If the internalId is not visible, enable it by going to Configure Object Definition, searching for Job Template Section, and setting the internalId field visibility to "Read Only".

• Create the JobProfileLocalizedData Entry:

In Manage Data, create a new entry for the JobProfileLocalizedData object.

Fill in the required fields:

externalCode: Use the externalCode of the Job Template.

locale: Specify the locale (e.g., en_US for English - United States).

sectionId: Use the internalId (Section ID) identified earlier.

sectionType: Specify the type of the section (e.g., JobDescription).

shortDescription: Provide a brief description.

longDescription: Provide the detailed description.

Save and Validate:

Save the new JobProfileLocalizedData entry.

Ensure that the data is correctly associated and that there are no validation errors.
