Job Posting in Erec

Hello Experts,

I am an abaper and am working on the E-Rec module.

I am working on a test system with almost no data in it.

I need to create a job posting so that it can be listed on the RefCode Search page and when I select it the 'Apply' button gets activated.

I need to activate the Apply button to perform some testing.

I am sure we need to setup complete erec for jobs to show up there, however I am looking for an alternate way e.g. create a table entry or something similar. Else let me know some docs which I can follow to set up the Erec.

Hi Anurag,

Once you see the posting in the list, you mark it, the apply button is always activated. The reference code search is database based and so you don't need a TREX installed to check the application process. (more info on help.sap.com)

Thanks for the reply Nicole.

How can I create the job to show up there. As I think the apply button will only be active once we select a job.

Create a requisition -> posting text and then a job posting for internal or external candidates (depends on which startpage you call the apply service). Once you publish it you should be able to copy the reference code in the search text field and then you get the hit.

Hi Anurag,

That is a function module from the manager desktop. Where do you call the E-Recruiting services from?

Best regards,

Nicole
