Job Interview (2020) - Invitation Activity

Hi Experts,

If the Recruiter creates an activity "Job Interview (2020)" for a

candidate in "Assignment for Requisition" application.

The following Activities are getting created for the same candidate.

1) 0050 : Reimburse Travel Expenses

2) 3020 : Invite to Interview

3) 3100 : Store Results/Appraisals

But the Invitation Correspondence "HRRCF_CS_IT_EXA_INVITATION" is not

getting triggered to the candidate with "Interview date, time and place

details."

If the Interview should be taken by Manager, then how will Manager come

to know about the Interview date, time and place details?.

Kindly help me in this regard.

Hi Harish,

By default you can't create a "normal" interview activity - it always has to be coupled with a questionnaire, qualifying event, .... So in this reference activity (qualifying evenet) you define the location and time of the event to take place and that is then pre-filled in the interview letter - see also

If the Recruiter creates an activity "Job Interview (2020)" for a

candidate in "Assignment for Requisition" application.

The following Activities are getting created for the same candidate. It will be available in "My Planned Activities" report.

1) 0050 : Reimburse Travel Expenses

2) 1020 : Job Interview

3) 3100 : Store Results/Appraisals

But the activity "3020: Invite to Interview" is not available for the recruiter in "My planned Correspondence activities" report.

Where can the recruiter check the "3020: Invite to Interview" activity.

Hi Harish,

Activity 2020 is just a qualifying event activity with no correspondence by default. If you want to send also the invitation 3020 with it, you have to make sure that both are linked in V77RCF_ACT2PROCR.

Please bear in mind that both activities have to be assigned to the process (VV77RCF_ACT2PROC) you mention in V77RCF_ACT2PROCR.
