Job Application still shows on home page however JR closed & person is hired, user have only option to withdraw application. please guide how can it be removed from Users home page?

In SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting, when a job requisition (JR) is closed and a candidate has already been hired, but the application still appears on the candidate's home page with only the "Withdraw Application" option, this is usually due to the application status not being properly dispositioned or not marked as completed in the recruiting system

Steps to Remove the Job Application from the Candidate's Home Page:

1. Check the Application Status
Navigate to the candidate's application for the closed requisition.

Confirm the current status (e.g., "Interview", "Offer", "Hired", etc.).

If the candidate is not dispositioned correctly, the system will still show the application as "active" on their homepage.

2. Disposition the Candidate
Go to Manage Requisitions > Candidates for that job requisition.

Locate the candidate whose application is still showing.

Move the candidate to a final status (e.g., "Hired", "Rejected", or a custom final status).

Ensure this status is marked as a disqualification status or end-of-process status in the status set configuration.

3. Mark as Completed
In some configurations, even after moving to a final status, the system requires the application to be marked as completed.

Go to Candidate Summary > Application, and see if there's an option to "Mark as Completed".

4. Check Recruiting Settings
Go to Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Settings.

Look for a setting related to "Hide completed applications from the candidate's home page" or "Automatically archive completed applications".

Make sure this is enabled if you want closed/hired applications to be hidden.

5. Review Permission Roles
Ensure the candidate’s role doesn't have special visibility into closed requisitions.

Go to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles > Candidate Role, and review the permissions related to application visibility.

Optional: Scheduled Job to Archive Applications
If applications need to be removed after a period of time, ensure there’s a Scheduled Job (Job Scheduler) set up to archive or purge old applications.

Check under Admin Center > Scheduled Job Manager or work with your system admin/consultant.

Notes:
Applications only disappear from the candidate home page when they are in a final and inactive state.

"Withdraw Application" will show as long as the system considers the application active and the requisition is technically still linked.
