Item Thumbnail size or ratio on SF iPad App

I am seeing some inconsistency on how the SF iPad app uses the item thumbnail image on the new course home page. In the app, the new course home page seems use only a 16:9 image, and will crop a 1:1 image to fit. The 1:1 thumbnails display as expected on the My Learning page in the app.

Has anyone else seen this? And more importantly is there a fix for it?

I was using:

SF iPad app: 10.0.1
iPadOS: 16.3.1

chris_at_delta thanks for raising this. Since customer images like yours often contain text, we don't want to zoom, re-center, or crop them. I'm raising an internal ticket so we can investigate and fix.
