Dear Experts
Can you please help me with the below mentioned issue.
I am a LMS Admin. I have revised an Item. In the new revised item I have added the old substitutes. The old substitutes are inactive. The new revised item is productionized and also added to the curriculum and added to users learning plan.
But it is not appearing in the search when I am doing the search in the learning tab as a learner. It is not appearing in my learning plan also.
But the old item when I make it active it appears when I search and also in my learning plan.
We want the new one because the new item has a new scorm file.
Regards
LC

Hi Chris
Thanks for your prompt response. All the items are added into the curriculam and the curriculam is assigned in the library.

Good day Lopa,
Even when an item is in a curriculum that in a library the item must also be in the library in order to be searched. If you look you should see the other items in your curriculum listed in the library since you are able to find them. When you initially add a curriculum to a library you may recall that is gives the option to add the items to the library at the same time. This does not carry forward to any changes made to a curriculum so any new items must be added manually to the library.

Generally, when something can't be found when searching as a user, it is not in a library that they have access to.
Can you check to ensure that
1) the newly revised item is in a library
2) the user you are searching with has access to that library.
There is one more possibility, but this is the most likely one, so let's start there ...
