Why the Display Program Dates is not behaving as expected in Employee History. Please advice. Thanks
I have made it very simple to check for one employee, but still not working as expected.
Settings:
Bonus Start/Ed Dates - 01,01,2024 to 12,31,2024
Business rule is very simple, but still not getting record start date as expected
Now run, Import Employee History from Employee Central.
Start date of first record should be 01.01.2024. But showing the date prior to Bonus start date. Please advice.
I know that, when we go to Exec Review it will show as 01012024 in worksheet- assignment details. But is there any solution to display it in Emp History also here in this screen.

Your expectations are wrong.
The employee history first record will always show the start date of the record valid in EC entering the VarPay program start date.
But when you launch worksheets, that first record start date will be overridden for display purposes by the program start date.
No matter which option you select for that setting, proration will always be accurate.
