Issue related to User ID mapping from EC to ECC

Hi Team,

We have a situation, in Employee Central  User id  is  generated as M10001765, how can we map it with existing employee ID in ECC (SAP HCM) which is 8 digit numeric number  62763465.

Also, when new employee is hired in EC its will have new employee id started with M1XXXXXX  then how we map and replicate the new User id  in ECC (SAP HCM).

Hi @PMurali,

For this scenario you can explore the "Use of Assignment ID in Employee Central Integration with SAP S∕4HANA".

If you enable use of assignment ID in Employee Central, it’s transferred to the SAP S∕4HANA system and used there as the personnel number when new hires are replicated. This means you can have a User ID M10001765 with and replicated the assignment ID 62763465.
