Is there a way to override user ID associated to a document ID (Performance form)

Hi Experts,

Is there a way to override the user ID associated to an existing performance form?

The scenario i'm facing is

1. Performance form launched to staff and is still in progress

2. Rehired staff under new employment

3. Staff holding the new assignment ID is unable to access the in-progress form parked in his inactive employment profile
