Hi
Is there a way to handle grandfathered cases in the annual merit increase cycle in successfactors. In Compensation by standard we map the position job grade and system shows the pay ranges and bench marking (Range penetration and Compa-ratio).
But in grandfathered cases the pay ranges and bench marking calculation should be based on the grandfathered grade which can be higher than the current grade.
Any thoughts on this, please let me know.

There is no way in standard, you would need to build lots of custom fields in EC for this to work.
We've built it for customers before but the heavy work is in EC (Create new fields in Comp Info to store the Pay Range min, the Pay range mid and Pay Range max, then build the business rules to update a custom compa ratio field based on whether the person is in a grandfather situation or not).
