Is routemap changing after launch of the forms is recommended to lauch forms for another set of user

Hi,

I saw for one of the customer had given a process by the consultant to launch the worksheets with one routemap for the employees whose forms must go through 7 step approval. And after the launch of the forms on the same template they suggested to launch the forms by changing the route map which has only 5 steps of approval.

My question is once the forms are already launched with one route map is it the best practice to change the route map and launch for another set in compensation management??

expecting the best practice and impact on the above mentioned.

It is not leading practice to launch two rounds of worksheets from the same template with 2 different route maps because it may impact other compensation module related jobs such as :

• Mass routing worksheets
• Exec review permissions based on route step. 

The leading practice is to create a new template when the route map changes.

Or to keep the workflow to a minimum number of steps then use Executive Review to allow more people to validate in some business units than others.
