I am trying to time my login screen to my audio so that when it is demoed, the audio says enter your username, my demo shows the input interaction of input text and you see the username type on the screen and then a password entered on the screen.
Is their a workaround or some feature in settings I need to add or disable?

You should have entering the userid and entering the password in separate Steps, so they have their own audio. Then add a pause in the front of each of those if you need to, as Shane says.
(Audio will always start 'immediately' as soon as the Step is displayed.)

Hi Vee,
I'm not sure if both actions - the entry of the user name and the entry of the password are on the same step or two different steps - but the concept of what you will need to do is similar. To adjust the timing of your audio, I would:
1. Open the Simulation in Producer
2. Generate/record the audio for a step. If you are using Text to Speech and the Google Text to Speech engine, you can embed break tags in your text to delay parts of the audio, e.g. <break time="300ms"/> puts a 300 millisecond break into the audio at the point where the tag is in the text
3. Once you have recorded/generated the audio, you can still make manual adjustments to the audio file using the Audio toolbar. To turn on the toolbar, if it doesn't appear, open a Simulation and select View > Components > Audio Editor
4. Use the following button on the Audio Editor toolbar to insert a silence into the existing audio file

Regards
Shane
