Is it possible to restrict report only to selected workareas

Hi Team,
would it be possible to restrict the report access only to selected workareas? I see that this is possible for content visits, if the user has a roe which is restricted to a selected workarea. But for the Lesson report and the User Report all data could be selected by anyone who has access to the reports. I would like to knw if this could be restricted. From my perspective it should only for very few people be possible to access this information. The content visits for special workareas is something which could be shared to more people, as there is no personal data to be see.

Is there an option to give permissions in a ways that this is possible?

Potentially. You can remove Report* ('object-level') permissions from all roles except a new role created for this purpose, and then assign this Role Workarea-level permissions only for the required Workarea. Haven't tried it, but theoretically it should work.

Hi Dirk,
I tried that, but unfortunately the restriction is only for some of the reports that way. The lessons learned and the user reports could be created for all Users or workareas that way. And this is my point. As these contain very sensitive data, I cannot give that permission to someone who would need just the content visits from their selected workarea.

Ah, ok. Well it was worth a try. I didnt know how SAP limited (or not) report access, and assumed they were all treated the same.

OK so another suggestion: Do you have access to Power BI at your organization? If so, create the reports you need there, and publish them for visibility to whoever needs them. (I don't know how to do that last part, but I'm sure it can be done...)
