Is it possible to remove mandatory behavior description for competencies?

In the new SuccessFactors H1 2021 release, the new Centre of Capabilities became the location to add, edit, and manage Competencies. One new feature is that when adding a behavior to a competency, it is now mandatory to enter a description for that behavior. This is not practical, as for many organisations the competency framework does not include descriptions for each behavior. Is there any way to get around this issue / not have to enter a behavior description?

Hi Zoe

You can remove the description on the behaviours using the option Manage data, available in Admin Center, please follow this steps:

• Go To Admin Center / Manage Data
• Search for the object Competency, using the option Search

• Select the competency you want to modify, and edit the behavior removing the description
