Is it possible to modify the Assign to Me label and action in the Learning Library?

We are being asked to modify the label and the action of the Assign to Me link in the Learning Library course tiles for training that have a required approval process (see image sap-community-2023-02-13-151722.png attached).

Can this be done? I don't see any option to modify the action of a link with my Learning System Administrator role ... and from my past experience this was not possible, but maybe there is more flexibility now.

If it can be done could we limit it to courses who have a required approval process?

Any and all input will be appreciated

Regards

Hi Céline,

Generally speaking, almost all labels can be changed. This is important to improve the understanding of the term in terms of the context and culture of the client company. This particular label you want to change has the Label ID Label.AddToDevelopmentPlan.

However, care must be taken when making these switches as many of the labels are used on different screens, and the term chosen for translation on one screen may not make sense on another. You can end up improving one translation and making another worse.

To be able to make changes to the labels, you must have the "workflows" with gives access to the menu References > Manage Labels > Labels.

Thank you Charles, I will keep in mind the fact that the label can be used on different screens.

In our demand they also want the action launched by clicking on the label modified ... are you aware if this can be done?

I'm pretty sure you cannot change the action, because it's not configurable.
