is it possible to make global fields (Race) a required field in EC but not in ONB

Hi,

I have requirement to make the global field Race mandatory in EC but it should be an optional field during the onboarding process. Is it possible?

I created a BR to throw error message and assigned it at the trigger rules --> HRIS element level. Enabled only for Edit UI (ESS / MSS).

On this page, I am able to select only "On Change" event type. I don't see "On Save" option. As a result even though I see the error message being triggered, I can save the record successfully without selecting Race option.

I am trying to figure out if I can enforce the user to save the record only after selecting the Race value.

Any pointers would be really helpful.

You use person types in the MBCUI, for employees, CW and onboarding - full details are in the configuration guides

Yes you can do that with person types.
