Is it possible to back-date Achievements in Continuous Performance?

Hello,

Is it possible to "back-date" Achievement Dates in the Continuous Performance module?

We launch Performance Forms at the end of our Fiscal Year, reviewing performance over the course of that year. Often times associates don't remember to add their achievements/mark activities as achievements until they're going in and doing their performance form. In these cases, the achievement/completed date updates to the date they mark it as an achievement, even though the activity (achievement) itself was completed earlier in the year. The downside of the date updating to the date it was entered is that the date falls outside of the "review period" of the form and the achievement does not show up in this year's performance form.

Is there a permission/setting I'm missing to allow backdating the achievement?

Thanks,
Geena

Hello Geena,

My colleague, Nina O'Hanlon, discovered how to back date the Achievements which has come in very handy for our users in our first roll out for certain departments to use the CPM tool.  The system administrator can enable the Edit option in the Manage Permission Roles > Permission Settings > Continuous Performance Management.  This will allow the user to create an Activity > Move the Activity to the Completed Status (creating an Achievement).  Once the Achievement is created, the user can select the View Achievements tab > Open the Achievement and Select Edit Achievement and back date the Date Achieved field accordingly.  For us, this also allowed the Achievements to automatically transfer to the correct performance form.

Hope this information helps!

Tina
