Hello experts,
Can anyone tell me what controls the ability for internal candidates to add or maintain their education/training in their candidate profile? I thought it flowed through from HR master data infotype 0022, but obviously it doesn't as there are records in IT0022 that do not appear in the candidate's education profile. I cannot locate any erecruiting parameters that allows this maintenance as well. I read in another post that HR data does not flow into Erecruiting due to different structure, so how does an internal candidate update their education/training information?
Am I missing some configuration or security setting? Any guidance is appreciated.

So if I understand this right, we will need to write a custom program to map the data from HCM to Erecruiting. I find that very disappointing.
As for my initial question, is there no way to activate an add, delete, or maintain to the Education/Training tab on the candidate profile so they may enter in their own education/training data straight into Erecruiting? (if we choose not to perform the mapping from HCM to Erec)

Yes, we have set the flag on the T77S0 parameter RECFA HRDAT = X. We do not allow employees to change their HR data as it appears it affect more than just education data. So I understand the full affects of the parameter above, if we remove the flag, it will allow an internal candidate to change their Personal Data and Education/Training information on their profile? Is that all or does it affect other functions for that candidate.
