Integration of Health Care Professional (HCP) attendees to SAP Concur
The primary purpose of HCP Attendee Integration is to automate and simplify the flow of HCP (Health Care Professionals) attendee master data into SAP Concur. This integration ensures that all attendee and event related data are accurate and up to date in the expense reports.
This integration is critical for industries (like pharmaceutical companies) wherein event-based expenses and HCP participant information must be recorded in the expense report.
Pre- Requisites:
Configuration Steps for HCP Attendee Integration in SAP Concur
1) Register/Configure Web Service Connector in SAP Concur
Go to Administration > Company > Web Services > Manage Application Connectors and enter into the required credentials shared by HCP vendor.
Click Test Connection and then activate the Fetch Attendee Connector as shown below:
2) Create the lists for HCP Attendees
List Management:
Depending on client’s requirement, Create the required lists under List Management to capture attendee specific information.
3) Customize Attendee Form
Configure HCP Attendee Form under Forms and Fields according to client’s requirement
and map the list created to capture attendee information to the relevant field (if applicable).
4) Map HCP Attendee form to Health Care Professionals Attendee Type
5) Configure data source (e.g., MedPro, Veeva Network).
Uncheck “Allow users to add attendees of this type” to restrict manual entry (if
needed). Click on “Save”
Adjust the settings (Settings tab) according to the client requirement
6) Activate the new HCP Attendee Type to the required Expense group.
