Hello Team
I wanted to ask you a question related to integration of employee data to LMS. We were working on the standard integration by provisioning jobs, based on Employee profile fields. We've heared that there's also an option to read employee data directly from Employee Central through Integration center. Is this something you have used? Is it recommended or does it have any cons? As pros, we wouldn't be consuming all the custom fields of the profile.
Regards,

Hey @RafaelHernandez
There are some really good resources out there to guide you through this with the best being an SAP Implementation Design Principle Document "SAP SuccessFactors Suite: Impact of Implementing Employee Central for LMS Customers" which i tried to find the latest version on line but couldn't (so ping me if you have no luck either and I'll send you a copy of the PDF I have).
Or there are multiple blogs showing you how to do it like this one:
SuccessFactors: Goodbye Provisioning Jobs Part 1 |... - SAP Community
I highly recommend using the Design Principle document as it shows you a lot of tips and tricks that the Implementation Consultants have learnt over the years and added to the one document. Such as how to configure the connector import settings to get away from the need to have the double header in the import file etc...
Let me know how you get on.
Cheers
Nathan H.

Another resource is the SAP Course which has great videos to show you how to build the three main connectors:
SAP SuccessFactors Learning – Get Your Implementation Right! (v2) through OpenSAP
SAP SuccessFactors Learning – Get Your Implementation Right
Course Content
Week 1: Design an Effective Security Model
Week 2: Design a Sustainable System
Week 3: Leverage Integration Center for Connectors
Week 4: Final Exam
We dont have EC but I am using the Integration Center to generate the user data file. Remember you need to create a EDI/Stacked integration with 2 headers if you want to use the SF User connector. If you are using User connector you can use the normal CSV file export. Let me know if you need anything else.
