Insert Link feature stopped working in SEN

Hi guys,

We are unable to use Insert Link feature for both book page and simulation. We followed these steps:

Select the text -> Insert Object -> Insert Link -> Free Link -> Link Target (entered the link). During the playback, nothing happens when the link is clicked.

No, none of our links work anymore out of a Book Page to a media object in another workarea. Nothing happens when you click the link. This is new misbehavior in our Cloud SEN - it worked fine last week. All of our target URLs are published, all the way up to the Workspace top level, including the Resources. I also tried a link to a site on the open internet. Nothing happens in the published book page when you click the hyperlink. The book page and all its parent folders + Resources are also Published all the way up to the Workspace level. The HTML looks correct. Older book pages that I have not edited in a month or so still play correctly. But on the newer book page that I update weekly, none of the links work anymore. Presumably this is an issue in the new Cloud release 2503 (version 10.8.15 build 7020) that came out last week. I don't find any Knowledge Base Articles on it in me.sap.com though.

SAP will apply a hotfix to Cloud SEN during the weekend of April 12. The hotfix file will be available for On-Premise customers in https://me.sap.com.

Hi Mani,

I've just had a look and there is definitely an error being generated when you click a link, including for external links.  Can you please raise a support ticket using the Component ID KM-SEN-MGR and get support involved.

Has this support ticket been raised and is there a solution? I am also running into the same issue.

If you're experiencing the issue, you should raise your own ticket. The more tickets SAP gets, the more attention gets paid to the issue. I do not have ticket access at my customer but I have asked them to raise a ticket.
