Inactive employees in succession org chart

Question, why inactive employees are not deleted from Succession org chart automaticaly?

Is it set up need or this the design idea?

Hi,

By default, the nomination is kept on Succession Org Chart/Talent Pool for inactive users; however, it is possible to hide these nominations by enabling the following setting on Provisioning:

"Succession Management: Hide inactive users from the list of successors in the org chart and omit them from new form creation (auto-population of previous successors)."

How can it be surpressed for reports? Our reports have shown both inactive users and inactive org units/positions.
