Hi,
I am preparing to roll-out ILX to our Learners.
Some time ago, SAP replaced the Entity icons with new images (a bit too generic for me)
I can update these : LMS Admin / System Admin / Application Admin / Images.
In the Images section, I can replace these images for each Entity type.
What is entity type here, as it is not matching the Entity list nor Item Types ?
I would have loved this to match my Item Types, as this would be a consistent logic for the learners.
Finally, I updated them all this morning, and all works in the ILX page, but only some did update in the catalog/library view.
What did you folks out there do ?
Did you add your own images ?
Thanks,
Kris

Hi Kris,
the entity type is based on 2 things:
While you may have defined an Item Type "Course" for instance, this would apply to online and ILT/ Blended training - all are courses, but the item classification specifies the nature of that course. Hence you can define default images for each classification, which all item types are basically subgroups of. Another example is: you have an item type "Classroom Training", so your item classification will always be Instructor-Led.
Item Types are custom values, the listed entity types are the system names/ entity types.
Based on the item classification, which is a required field upon item creation, your users will have a consistent view of images (if you work with the defaults only, as you could also assign an image per item).
Regarding the last question, it still takes some considerate time for the data to be refreshed in the user view, I believe the current number is up to 12 hours on production (maybe it was 24). So give it some more time.
Best
