iContent Storage Managment

We “self-manage” our iContent Storage but we have not touched it since we implemented it several years ago. I am interested in learning from others best practices on managing the storage. For example, if a course is no longer active, do you delete the files off the server? What type of clean up/maintenance do you perform? Anything else to consider on this topic?

Hello @cnewman , hope you`re doing well

There is no a formula to manage unused contents, but I`d like to suggest two ways:

1 - Our PCM (Premium Content Management) team, can assist you according the best practices in manage content. They have customized reports to detect the contents not used for a long time. Reach your SAP Account Manager described in this KBA >> 2552965 - How to contact the Premium Content Management (PCM) team? - SAP for Me

2 - Extracting two reports, Item Details and Learning History, you can cross the information and find the course with no more access in a large number of months, for example 3 years without any record.

To check future enhancements you can access the roadmap in this link >>
SAP Road Map Explorer

In case of do not encountered any reference in future release, I suggest you to create a product enhancement >> 2090228 - How to Submit Ideas for SAP SuccessFactors Products - SAP ONE Support Launchpad

Depending in how relevant is, your idea can be voted and enter in a future roadmap.

I hope this helps
