Hi,
For our employees on a salary free of tax deal, the total of tax and NI should equal the free of tax gross up value. The gross up value is sometimes showing as a higher value, meaning the employee is paid more net pay that agreed.
We have not checked previous years yet but can see that it is affecting the 24/25 tax year.
For one employee in particular, there has not been a backdated change from non free of tax salary to free of tax salary - we understand in this instance there could be a difference. Their tax code has also remained the same.
The only thing which has changed for this employee is the net pay value agreed by the employer
Has their been an issue with the gross up function where a fix should have been applied?
