Hi All,
We have a front-end UI set-up for e-rec (for external candidates), as well as a back-end that runs e-rec for internal candidates.
We have configured as per note 1017866 (system constellation 3).
When I test hrrcf_a_candidate_registration from the user interface, the page displays, but when I click the register button, nothing happens. The registration page remains with the data I entered, and the user is not created.
What am I missing to get this application to run?
Thanks
Shane
Request clarification before answering.
This might be because of the HTTP/HTTPS configuration for this particular service...
To fix this:
1) Go to your service in transaction SICF
2) Go to error pages tab
3) Go to "Logon error",
4) Go to configure at the bottom
Change the logon method from "HTTPs" to "Do not switch" and turn off error messages.
I hope this will help...

Hi Aqeel,
That did not solve the problem. I am thinking the problem could have to do with the user assigned to hrrcf_a_candidate_registration.
I have user RCF_UNREGSER assigned, as type 'service user' with roles:
SAP_RCF_UNREG_CANDIDATE_CLIENT
SAP_RCF_UNREGISTERED_CANDIDATE
Anything else I am missing from this users roles/profiles??
Thanks
Shane
Nothing in SLG1.
And also proving hard to debug because I need a dialog user to set a breakpoint, but hrrcf_a_candidate_registration is supposed to be run using a service user, and when I switch it to a dialog user, I get the error: "You are not authorized to assign profiles"
Any ideas?
Anyone ever configure hrrcf_a_candidate_registration?
Shane
Issue was with roles of user assigned to Trusted RFC connection between backend system and UI system.
