Hi,
We have a PMGM, Learning and Compensation modules already in Live and we are planning to get EC live soon. We have few questions regarding HRIS Sync. We are planning to load the data in to EC from November and we are planning to go live by January 2024. We will not create the HRIS sync job in provisoning until before go live as the data is totally different in Employee Profile at the moment. So we dont need the data to be replaced from EC until we go live.
But even if the HRIS sync is not created and not scheduled, will the Real-Time Sync Due to UI Operation will run and updates EP data? If yes how we can disable this action, as our HR users may validate the imported EC data and make corrections until go live and these corrections should not be updated to EP until EC go live.
Any inputs on this?

Dear ramasokan,
Thanks for your question.
Yes, the Real Time Sync will run based on the below cases:
______________________________________________________________
Real-Time Sync Due to UI Operation
HRIS sync is immediately triggered upon the following changes made to the Employee Central records through UI operations (Employee Self-Service, Manager Self-Service, and new hire process😞
This method only syncs the data from the HRIS Element that you are updating.
This method doesn't require or trigger an HRIS Sync job.
______________________________________________________________
Now the question is, are you planning to add EC data using the UI? because this is what triggers the Real-Time Sync.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Karen Perez
