Hello Colleagues,

This Question is related to Compensation module: Compensation Statements

The employee himself can see all of his compensation statements

But proxying with the HR Director that is asking us that should be able to see all the compensation statements too, this person can only see this over the same employee i described above.

As you can see, the HR director can only see the 2023 compensation statement, but would need to see all of them. Do you know where is the permission or configuration in order to solve this please?

Regards

Hello,

As i see, even if i click all these options still cannot see it, but if i use the option "Default permissions" then the Director can see this statement for all the people. I guess because this option is attached to role based permissions.

Knowing this, is there a way to control these permissions in a more general way, so i can just tell the system to show all the compensation statements to this HR Director, instead of having to give permission to each statement one by one?

Kind Regards

Hi agali

  • Default permission uses Role Based Permission defined for him, which is why it fixes your issue.
  • "Change permission for who can view this statement" used the legacy Succession Datamodel roles (MANAGER, HR, SECOND_MANAGER, ...) which means that if he is not tied to the employees through those hierarchies he will never see the statements.

Hence keep Default permission checked always and make sure RBP is correctly set up (it sounds like it is).

All the best

Hi Xavier,

Yes, currently the configuration is as you say, however i rally appreciate your confirmation. Nonetheless, the client is still asking for a configuration that allows her to see all of the compensation statements without having to grant permissions one by one to each of them. In addition, she says that she could do that before but know it is gone. Is would like to know if that is true and the functionality is available or this client is confused.
