How to set column as read only in Erc ?

Hi,

In WebDynpro component "ERC_C_REQ_MGMT_UI", in view V_SPECIFICATION i need to set column REFERENCE_CODE as read only.

I created a new Z Componenet Configuration  and set the filed to READ ONLY.

The problem is that when i execute the program i still see the column as regular - with the ability to change it, as it was before i implemented the Z Componenet Configuration.

How can i fix it , that the screen will work according to my Z Componenet Configuration  ?

Hello Ami,

1. Check that the change is reflected in your Z Configuration.

2. Pass your Z component configuration ID to your respective component.

Hi Ram,

i entered again to the Z component configuration ( in transaction SE80 ),  and the changes that i entered ( changing a column to a READ-ONLY ) is still there.

Can you please explain me How to pass my Z component configuration ID to my respective component?

Ami,

Please follow up the below steps

1. Go to SE80. Package -> PAOC_RCF_WD_UI.

2. Open the Application Configuration in Application ERC_A_REQ_MGMT.

3. Click on Start Configurator and a new window will open.

4. Go to Additional Functions and enhance it(See attachment for further reference).

5. Now enter your Z configuration to the Config ID of the component(See attachment(Pass your config) for further reference).

I did as you offered and connectec my Z configuration to the Config ID, but still the column i wanted to convert is still NOT in READ-ONLY mode. Do i need to configure only tab "GENERAL JOB INFORMATION " or also the other tabs like "REQUIREMENTS" ?

Hi Ami,

do you call the application with an application configuration where this component configuration is assigned?
