Hello,
We have such issue that when we record the class this action moves the item with another active class from the users learning assignments.
Description:
1) We created an item: English course and added classes for multiply sessions (one session is in spring and second is in autumn each year, one class=one session), users are welcome to register to many sessions;
2) When we registered users participation is one class/session (the completed one) it moved this class to the learning history - it is fine;
3) In the same time after the completed class recording the item with currently active class for which users is registered disappeared from users Learning Plan/Learning Assignments tab - which is not expected behavior.
The example: student A was registered for 2 classes: autumn which had the end date 31.03.2024 and spring which end date is 30.09.2024. Administrator recorded class which ended 31.03.2024 and moved the class to the learning history. In the same time there is no item and no active class on student's Learning Plan/Learning Assignments tab.
Please advise how to record the completion of the completed class and keep the class which is still active and user is registered on the class on users Learning Plan/Learning Assignments tab.

Dominika

Hi Dominika,
What you described is the expected design and behaviour of our solution.
A class is a scheduled "materialisation" of an item.
When the class is attended, the completion is recorded against the item itself (not its class).
Meaning that when the item is completed, it disappears from the learning plan and moves to the learning history.
If you wish/need to have two autumn/spring class sessions, the system will require two instructor-led items, from which scheduling respective classes will be possible. KR, Frederic

Hi
This is a scenario that requires a bit of sequence. Please play around with the setting as detailed in this KBA. If you set a threshold and then register them on the class that is later in the year, you might be able to still enrol them.
Thank you
