How to move fields from one roadmap step to another

Hello Experts,

In EHP5 for the candidate portal, I can hide certain roadmap steps. However how to incorporate the same fields in one step. Hide few steps but incorporate the fields in the first step. Is it possible ?

Hi Bev,

In the candidate scnearios that is not that easy because you would need own custom WD component calling the fields you need in there. In the recruiter scnearios with FPM that's easier because here you can add several subviews of different components.

So it depends on how much programming effort you want to put into this topic. If you want the whole candidate UI changed, you can also have a look at Adobe Flex (http://www.apps4erp.de/Details.aspx?BaseCat=59&CurrentCat=59&Details=606&Language=en).

Hi Bev,

Hiding a field in a step is possible. But moving a field from one roadmap step to another is impossible. Different roadmap steps are different webdynpro components. Their view elements are not movable.
