How to make a goal plan form fields mandatory?

Hello everybody!

How to make a goal plan form fields mandatory?

Our client has is goal plan connected to the form.
The form as 4 avaluation steps, the manager must do the evaluation of the trimester in each one of them.
This field is mandatory on the plan, and the client want it to be mandatory also on the form, meaning, not be able to move on, in the form without filling in this field (which belong's to the plan).

Is it possible to do this?

If it's not, does anyone have any suggestions to what we could do instead?

Hi Angela,

You can follow the below steps:

1. In Admin Center, go to Manage Templates and open a form template.
2. Choose Edit Fields and Sections and select a section in which you want to configure required fields.
3. Choose Show advanced options and 0 Required Field Permission(s) defined. Click to modify.

   The Required Field Permissions dialog box appears.

4. Choose Add Another to configure the actions, roles, and steps for the required fields to take effect.

• Select Send Action as Next Step: Send the form to the next step and/or Sign: Sign the form
• Then select the Roles and Route Map Steps

• Now Choose Add Field and select at least one field.
• For Goal Section, you may select any of the following:Item RatingUnofficial User RatingItem WeightSection WeightItem CommentsSubject RatingSection Comments

Note: If you select the Item Comments or Section Comments field, you can set a minimum character limit and a maximum character limit in Minimum Value and Maximum Value respectively. The default value is -1. Please enter a positive number for the minimum value.

Hi Angela,

Yes this is possible, you need to ensure correct required field permissions are setup at form level as well and GM-PM sync is enabled in Manage templates area.

Hi Ujjal,

Do you have any link to a KBA or some other documentation, where I can consult that for better clearance?
Because GM and PM are synchred, and we have all the permissions, so maybe the documentation will help us understand better.
