Dear Folks,
Yet another set of query for understanding.
1) Lets take a scenario, that a candidate applies for two openings at a time; which means he is assigned to requisitions posted.
If the two requisitions are posted by different recruiters, how can in standard system we can prevent one of the recruiters from processing the candidate if another recruiter has already initiated the candidate processing for selection/recruitment procedure.
2) Another scenario; may be if the same candidate is processed by both the recruiters for different positions. And if the candidate clears one position and he is selected ready to be given offer; then how do we prevent the other recruiter to stop proceeding with this candidate for next levels.
3) If a company has a policy that you cannot process a candidate at a time for multiple requisitions or assign one candidate to multiple requisitions; is there a there a standard way to achieve it ? How to prevent a candidate applying for multiple requisitions ?
A. How can recruiters lock the candidates whom they are processing to avoid conflict among recruitment teams processing same guy ?
B. Is there a way in standard to lock the candidate profile, so another recruiter cannot process it or cannot find it in candidate search if a candidate has reached offer status in the recruitment cycle ?
Awaiting inputs on these processes.
Regards,
Paul.

Hi Paul,
1) The assignments on the candidate are shown in the candidate profile. So this is where recruiters can check if the status is "to be hired".
2) There is no auomatic check on that. So this will have to be done automatically. You have the possibility to show how many assignments the candidate have (own column in the candidate selection service). So if you see here more than 1, this could be the trigger that recruiters look and check again.
3) We don't prevent that - only that they can't apply to the same requisition several times. You could add a modification asking for open assignments (as in point 2) to avoid that.

Nicole

Hi Nicole,
Thanks for the inputs.
Incase if I have to do a modification/enhancement for recruiter to lock a profile which he/she is currently processing to prevent from being processed by other recruiters, where can i put that lock.
Which WDA componenent ? EREC Services ?
Please provide inputs.
Regards,
Paul.
If your talking about a realtime lock => this is standard, you cannot change the same candidate profile by multiple persons at the same time. But in different requisitions at different times, yes.
As suggested before, why don't you add the other recruiters as backup. That way they can also see the other requisitions. But they can already see that using the assignment column as Nicole suggested (or in the candidate profile)
Hi Ashish,
Thanks for the inputs.

Hi ,
you can enhance the ERC_C_REQUI_SEARCH_UI , this component will be called every time when you try to assign candidate against a new requisition.
also please use candidacy status to restrict the candidate .
