How to identify SAP S/4 Hana Version for SAP Companion Configuration?

We want to configure SAP Companion for the target application SAP S/4 HANA. For the same, I want to first identify which product version my Client is using - On Cloud or On-Premise. From SAP Community, I found that I can log into SAP S/4 HANA, go to User Profile and click About to get these details. I have added the screens below.

When I look at the Product Version section in the screen below, I could not guess whether the Client is using Cloud or On Premise for the SAP S4 HANA application. Can someone please help?

Hi, @AngadJadhav, 

Yours is SAP S/4HANA ON-PREMISE. The SAP S/4HANA (Public) Cloud is regularly upgraded, so in 2024, no customers have the 2022 (Cloud) version but 2402.

For SAP Companion configuration please use these parameters: 

Product: SAP_S4HANA_ON-PREMISE

Version: 2022.latest

It was versions of the components, and how the About screen looked like.

Hi Angad,

When I click on my profile button - top, right corner - and select About, I see the following so it is clear which version I'm using:

If you cannot see something similar, perhaps ask your customer; I would assume that your customer would know if they are using public cloud or on premise/private cloud.
