We want to highlight a section, but have it flash once and then move to the next action, which is another highlight.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Vee,
You can use the Highlight object - under the Insert > Insert Page Objects > Highlight menu but if that is the only macro in the Step the Simulation will only briefly flash that Step before moving to the next. If you want the highlight to stay on the screen for a brief time, e.g. 2 seconds, you will need to add a macro below the Highlight object in the same Step. For example, add an Explanation with basic text that is set to stay on the screen for 2 seconds.

This does not work because I need the highlight function from the explanation bubble. I just want the explanation bubble to disappear but still be able to use the highlight feature.
If this is not possible, how can I use the highlight feature to flash and then disappear off the screen.

Ohh, you want to do this for Explanations (sorry, my oversight). Well that's weird, because by default Explanations don't have the highlight displayed and you have to explicitly choose to include it if you want it. So yes, like Shane says - use the Page > Highlight instead (although because it is a Page macro it will be displayed from the time you choose to display it until the end of the Step, so pay attention to the order).
See under the Simulation category for the Explanation macro. There's literally a property called Bubble In Demo that you can deselect.

Hi Vee,
While editing the simulation, select the Explanation bubble you want to hide. Then in the advanced layout of the Explanation bubble's properties, Open up the Simulation section.
By default, In Demo Mode is selected.
Unselect it and save.
Now the bubble will not appear in Demo mode.
