To the SuccessFactors Community,
our organization utilizes a number of service accounts in Employee Central (e. g. generic users accounts, API users, test user / demo user accounts). These accounts were through the regular new hire process with minimal metadata added (e. g. no position info, no demographic, no manager etc.).
Is there a way to suppress these non-employee / service accounts from showing up in search results when our employees use the search bar?
Regards,
Henrik
P.S. We already know how to hide users from showing up on the org chart by clearing the field "Manager" in Job Information
Well that would have to go quite far as all respective target groups of that person should not contain those users. You'd at least need a permission group that includes all those that are not system users (i.e. with a criteria such as hire date > 1/1/1900). This would need to be applied to all their target groups then for their respective permission roles (which may be quite the exercise).
