how to get max date for an item request date

Hi

I've seen people ask this question but not able to get an answer so I'm trying again with a simple screenshot to show the issue.

I'm trying to get the most recent "request date" for an item (course). This will then tell us if an Item is being used or not.

I've created a custom calculated in the story. I've selected Aggregation, Selected Max as the Operation. And selected Request Date as the Aggregation Dimension. What I'm stuck on is you can only select Count under Measure. So the result is how many have requested on any given date. So the question is how do I get this to show the max date? See screenshot for the example.

I've looked all over the internet to try and find an answer but had no luck.
