Hi Experts,
My customer does not have PMGM implemented in SF. I have a requirement to enable portlet in Employee profile to maintain and display PM ratings. These ratings should then be fetched on Compensation forms on launching.
Also the ratings in Employee Profile portlet should allow import.
Please help me with configuration steps to meet this requirement.
I have enabled the background element sysOverallCustom2 however the rating field is not displaying the values of the associated picklist that I configured in Picklist centre. Is it possible to use the Matrix Grid Rating Scale here? If yes then please explain how?
Also the standard field pmRating in the Design worksheet screen does not show the background elements in the EC Category drop down values?

Request clarification before answering.
Hi novice
pmRating standard field gets its values only from Plan Setup > Plan Details > Rating Sources (where you will be guided in your options of which rating to select from Employee Profile).

OR from a direct mapping of the pmRating column to a field in EC / or even better : to a field from an MDF object (which is what I use in every test environment to mass load all ratings for all users very quickly).

MDF objects can be made visible on the People Profile too which fully replaces the need to use the legacy standard backgrounds sysOverall UNLESS the customer needs to use ratings in Succession Module and/or How vs What etc.
The end of the recording on this blog shows the integration of pmRating with MDF.
