Hi Sherwin,

You can hide the navigation at the individual book level as well. Select the book, go into edit mode, on the left side scroll down to the book reader section, enable the Hide Navigation Controls (green box) and then check the box (see image br_1).

If you want this to be the default for the workarea, you can set this in your adaptable resources, playback settings, book reader, Hide Control Bar.

Hello Sherwin,

From Producer, I think its in your resource settings, playback settings, trainer global.

There's a tickbox for "hide navigation".

I haven't tried it, to avoid potentially corrupting our existing setup.

But perhaps?

And I'm sure the deep experts will vet this and answer - this community is really strong and responsive.

Hello Sherwin,

if you want to disable the navigation just for one bookpage, you can disable the navigation when loading this page. The navigation can be activated e.g. by the learner when performing a special exercise.

  • Clicking outside the bookpage activates the object "page"
  • Under Actions there is a section "On Page Loaded"
  • There you choose "page" and "Disable Book Navigation"

  • To activate the navigation you con define e.g. a Shape or an Active Area with the action "Enable Book Navigation" by clicking it.
