Hi All,
I have a scenario where personal data (National id / address etc..) changes are requested by an employee will in turn trigger a workflow to another team in order to approve the requested changes.
while workflow is still in pending / to be approved status / in a queue, employee initiates one or few more requests on same area with different data which is also triggering one more workflow and getting landed at approval's team which is actually creating a confusion of which one to approve.
Is there a way to restrict or control that since 1 workflow is currently pending for an employee on a particular area (National Id / Address change etc..) one more workflow should not be triggered at all unless an action is made on the previous one?
I have seen a similar KBA note but doesnt really match to my particular scenario
2674664 - Multiple Workflows for one Employee on same Effective Date (sap.com)
Any suggestions / leads will be highly appreciated.

Dear buddepu,
Currently there is no way to control workflows like the use case you described. The system allow employees to raise changes/workflows for each portlet without limitation.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Karen Perez
