How to configure spot reward budget based on department

Hi team,

Is there a spectific way to configure spot reward budget based on department. 

 

For Example : For Dept 1 Bused is 5000 USD

Dept 2 budget is 2000 USD

Or do we have any alternative solution for this requirement.

Is it possible to restrict number of nomination for each department

CC my colleague @lesleyr for her expertise on R&R and confirmation. As far as I've researched it looks like we are limited to defining budgets based on planners and not by attributes. See this link.

Regarding restricting the number of nominations there is currently no standard feature in the system to do this (except when budget by holder is exceeded in which case nomination cannot proceed) however our colleague @AndresCarter documented this workaround which you can try to explore to build your requirement:

It's not currently possible to assign budgets at a department level. If there is a "department head" over each department, you could assign those users as budget holders but otherwise there is currently no standard way to achieve this. If you look at the Road Map for Compensation there are plans to enhance the budget functionality in the future but no specific details yet/
