If I understood correctly, you are looking to add a new value to the gender picklist, but this new value should not be applied to all countries.

If you are using the global gender field, there is no way from hiding the value for some countries and showing to others. Some customers decided to crete a business rule, onChange in the gender field, to prevent countries that are not supposed to have the value, from selecting it.

Other customers implement the CSF gender field and in this case, you can define a different picklist for each country. More details on the CSF gender can be found here.

Hi karen, Thank you for your reply, can you also assist with the steps on how you add a new picklist under Personal information in place of gender, because i looked from the manage business configuration side but i was unable to add

Dear eulendamafemani123,

If you are using the "Enhancement to Gender Values" option, you will have Male, Female, Unknown, Undeclared and Others. You can take for example the "Others" and relabel for the new value that you want. This is the only way to "add" new value.

If you are using the country specific that I mentioned before, you can create your own picklists.
