How to avoid changing the link of an item when doing a review?

Dear All,

On our intranet we have links to some very important learning items.

However, when we update these items the link is broken.

Is it possible to update items without changing your access link?

Check your Global Application Settings for an checkbox labelled "Item Direct link should launch the latest active productionized revision of the item:" If it is selected, this should keep your links working.
