How to automate assignment of training "packages" in Stages in the SuccessFactors LMS

Hi, I would like to explore setting up Job Codes (JC) (alternate Job Codes) in the SuccessFactors LMS. Consistent feedback from some Managers is that the sequence of completing training curriculums is critical for some of our users, i.e. for e.g., instead of having 30 curriculums assigned to a user in 1 JC, I would like to explore say, splitting this 30 curriculums into 3 JCs of 10 curriculums each – and for e.g. the colleague needs to complete the Stage 1 JC then Stage 2 JC is assigned, and when the Stage 2 JC is completed, Stage 3 JC is assigned.

  • Option 1: How can we setup for such Staged JC assignments? For e.g., is the SuccessFactors LMS able to automatically assign to the users such that on the user 1st day, it assigns the Stage 1 JC to the user, then after the 1st month, it assigns Stage 2 JC to the user, then after the 2nd month, it assigns Stage 3 JC to the user.
  • Option 2: If “automatic” assignment by the SuccessFactors LMS (Option 1) is not possible, how can we have some kind of signal/trigger from the SuccessFactors LMS to notify the training admin to manually assign the Stage 2 & 3 JCs to the colleagues upon the required duration (for e.g. monthly assignment per the above e.g.) or upon completion of the preceding Stage?
  • Option 3: Other suggestions/lesson learnt?

A point to note is that users can join the company at any time (& thus their 1st Day are also different) so at any time there could be a # of users to be “managed”, thus it is preferred if we have some form of automation to help manage such staged JC assignments.
