We tryed to add roles to LDAP users (source_id=<ldap>) via Excel-file on our On-premis version of SEN.
Right now we tryed it for both SQL and Hana versions.
For LDAP users It doesn't work at all. We made an incedents. The answer is: it doesn't work for ldap users.
So my questions are:
1) Why it doesn't work for LDAP users (source_id=<ldap>) and in the same time works for users (source_id=<saml>)?
2) We got over 8000 users. And it is a little bit hard to assign roles in Manager manually user-by-user.
3) We are not able to create such ammount of groups in MS AD. Even we able to do it - it is quite hard to moderate groups.
Is it possible to provide any workaround to make mass roles assign possible for ldap users?
