How to access on-prem Enable Now resources from the internet without exposing the port directly?

Hi Team,

We have integrated the SAP Enable-now web companion (on-premise) using HTTPS port with SuccessFactors. We are not having any issues accessing Successfactor within our private network but outside the network, we are getting frequent popups to login with id and password. This is because our on-premise enable now servers port is not allowed outside.

Due to security measures it is not possible or recommended to allow direct access to the port from outside the network. What options exist?

There is no official tool for routing network traffic as part of the on-premise Enable Now Manager. You would need to set up a third-party network routing appliance if you wish to provide a firewall between your SEN system and the public internet. You can then expose a public port and configure this in your SAP Companion settings. The appliance would then route this to the internal port for the SEN Manager system.

At SAP Enable Now we give customers the opportunity to participate in Product Development by suggesting new features/enhancements.

New features requested are voted by different customers, most voted features/ideas have priority to be added by the development team in future releases, we cannot guarantee that all features requested will be implemented but most of the new features came from the enhancement requests.
