How PRod / Preview datacenter can have a feature down at the same time ?

We are experiencing severe feature down  in DC33 data center :

- in prod

- in preview

HR are unable to :

- terminate

- rehire

- update job/comp info

i would like to understand how it’s technically feasible that a change does impact both data centers at the same time .

is there some specific emergency changes that can be deployed in both datacenters at the same time ?

how can we find the latest change done from these category ?

can you confirm the issue is resolved for all in DC33, DC57, DC66 ? patch has been deployed in DC33 (and we can confirm it's fixed)

Not the best move by SAP. I had a UAT testing session yesterday with a customer and we couldn't do much testing with onChange rule freezing everything.

As for the question on where to find info on patch for people who read the thread, I go here: https://community.sap.com/t5/patches/tkb-p/hxm-patches

I agree that there isn't enough info (and nothing on onChange rule and the lastest patch!) but it is a start to explain why my instances aren't behaving like usual!

Cheers,

Stéphanie

Patch was deployed to all DCs early this morning.  Please update your cases if you are still seeing an issue.

I agree Philippe, I don't have an answer, but I do have the problem so glad we're not alone! We are DC57 and experiencing the same. I am really hoping that such a significant outage will mean that it is resolved by the morning - even if they won't call it outage, but being unable to execute even the most basic HR transactions in an HR system = outage in my view.

DC66 also impacted; DEV, TEST & PROD instances.

I received this update 5.5 hours ago:

"Please expect a further update from us no later than 5 hours from now. If the Emergency Patch is deployed sooner (which we are anticipating), we will send a confirmation notification much sooner than that."

the problem is coming from H1_2024_P23 patch deployed on Preview on Sept 24th & on Prod on Sept 26th. I'm surprised to discover there is now ONLY 2 DAYS difference between Preview & Prod deployment ! No SAP Ticket can stop Prod deployment if a severe issue is found in Preview. i need to find a way to voice my concern on that to SAP.
