How is your company utilizing the Mentorship Program module?

Hello! The company I work for, Elbit Systems of America, would like me to configure and release a mentorship program next month using the mentorship section that came with the development module. I am leaning toward using the open program type, but I am curious as to how other companies handle their mentorship programs. Would anyone be willing to share how they use this section of the development module? I appreciate any insight available. Cheers!
